Job Opportunities - IT Support Specialist

IT Support Specialist is an inbound/outbound, customer-facing position that works with both ForthPhaze Technology's and client IT systems.

Duties include:

  • Monitoring and responding to IT systems issues
  • Monitoring and responding to backup notifications/reports
  • Repairing systems that have problems or failures
  • Installing and maintaining hardware systems, network systems
  • Maintaining software and operating systems
  • Performing client-initiated service requests
  • Removing of virus/trojan/malware infections


Technical Skills Desired

  • Expert in Windows XP/Vista/7
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2003, 2008, SBS
  • Proficient with PC diagnostic software and repair tools
  • Ability to build/repair computer equipment
  • Perform data recovery and extractions from failed devices
  • Repair PCs from virus/malware infection
  • Coordinate RMA of devices through vendors
  • Resolve warranty issues with vendors


Skills that will earn special consideration

  • Virtualization technology, Hyper-V and VMWare
  • Mac literate
  • Linux experience and proficiency
  • HTML, CSS, & PHP skills
